The world has suffered a great loss on Friday. That loss was Brandon Stevens, Fraternity Brother, Friend to many, business man and overall great guy willing to help others in need. Unfortunately, someone else decided his life on Friday morning when his roommate and other accomplices shot him in the head and burned his body in his house. Apparently this was for money, but frankly I know Brandon’s life was worth more than any amount of money.
I am not sure how anyone could possibly do something to this extreme, but unfortunately this evilness happens daily throughout the world.
I am writing today to give my respects to Brandon and let him know he will be missed by me, our friends, his family and many others he had touched in his short life.
Everyone one of us was touched one way or another by Brandon, so I invite you to leave any comments or stories you may about Brandon. Let this be a place of his memories and a place that lives on forever in the name of Brandon Stevens.
If there was a chance Brandon could read this from where he is now, I say to you, I love you Brother! You are already missed and Rest in Peace…
Today, like many have already said, is a day of historical value. A day that supersedes the negative outlook that many have on the United States today. Hope is what the swearing in of Barack Obama means to the American people and the ability within to dig deep and start helping their neighbors and brothers out in need. This is what I believe America to be known for. The reason hope and optimism is felt through out the world; all because of the first black president; Barack Obama.
The sea of people that waved their American flags at the inauguration today (January 20th, 2009) was a remarkable site to see. It was inspiring to say the least. So inspiring, I am ending this blog entry with video from today’s inauguration and you can witness this historic day for yourself.
I wasn’t going to post tonight until I saw this video posted from my Facebook account and it just brought me back and reminded me of when things were simple. no worries, no responsibilities, but most importantly everyone got along. If there was any issue, the next day its like it never happened. Those days were great and so uncomplicated. Today however, We are fighting two wars overseas, the economy is…WELL, terrible. Everyone is doing the work of multiple people, but at the same time everyone is losing their jobs. This seems to cause tension, stress and life very complicated. This tears people apart from each other and start to isolate themselves from the world. The odd thing is that you need to do just the opposite! You need to get you butt of that chair and meet new people. This will make you stronger in the long run. I invite you to lean on me and put your troubles on me so that you don’t have so much to worry about. in the essence of this post, please enjoy the vidoe clip I have at the top of this article.

The one thing that I can’t seem to get a grasp of is using the internet to make money. It seems like there are so many people out there selling these products and they are so successful with pictures of themsleves next to their brand new Jaguar or Vette etc. and then they want to sell their ideas to you. Why do they want to share their ideas with you. Is it because their ideas are now old and they are on to bigger things now. Is it because you make more money teaching others than actually doing the process yourself.
I personally thing the latter of the two is more true. Well, why wouldn’t they, people want the secret to success or cut out steps to get there. It seems that some of the best advice I ever received fro msuccessful people is that there is no short cut and there is noway to take steps out of the process. Well, unless you are born into wealth, but the majority us do not fall into this category.
So here is my secret to success. Work hard! Sacrifice your time in order to receive wealth. in time your work will multiply and you can reap the fruits of your labor. Read as much as you can and apply new ideas and techniques to always be delivering something new to the customer or prospect. Because who wants stale information. Do you eat stale bread?? I didn’t think so, so why would you want stale info.
Welcome to my first blog. I want this to be a space where minds are open and topics are discussed freely. My intent is to get things off my chest that I have been thinking about for a while and whether we agree or disagree, that is ok. This might end up taking a life of its own eventually, but until that day, this is an open forum that anything can be discussed. It may be local, national or worldwide politics or on the economy. I do want to close with a little bit about our current U.S. Economy and the miracle that Barrack Obama will need to produce. With everything downward spiraling, I am not sure anyone can pull us out of it. like Barrack has mentioned many times before, its going to take all of us to do this, to rise above it and get out there and help. I think the only thing people are waiting on are instructions…
